Silent As The Sea
As silent as the sea, she is to me.
Her waves echo my silent screams,
Wearing my walls away.
Her
tide pulls me deeper,
To depths
too deep to dig.
My
fortress unable to withstand,
I cling to the darkness,
I beg for my sanctuary.
To raise my walls,
Once a fortress so strong,
No light could fade.
I have no fight, so lost...
Drowning in her depths.
For she is the storm that is the night,
She reflects in all that I see.
As I look to her sea of stars,
A star for every memory, for every wished kiss.
My heart is my anchor,
Heavy with flame,
My tears of fire bleed from within.
Her warmth, once so sweet, now frozen in time...
For she is
not mine.
