inop.
Looks like we're not going anywhere today, my panzer is throwing fuel everywhere, run over to the CPand tell the XO we're saftey
deadlined.
2. No
freq hopping for me this weekend, My main gun is deadlined from that girl last week.
deadline

A deadline refers to a practice in earlier prison
camps which were usually farms and therefore had no real fences and so the deadline was literally a
perimeter line that if you crossed you would
be shot and most likely killed.
Example:
Can you imagine if they were to
enact old school deadlines in place of the modern equivalent? I bet everyone would turn their work in on time with that kind of pressure. Unless of course they were
suicidal and too lazy to do it themselves.
Greek Deadline
by GG top on Feb 09, 2012 01:55:17
A hard
deadline which absolutely, positively, must be met or the world will
end.
Or not. Whatever.
Example:
"
In other news, another
Greek deadline for resolving their
fiscal crisis has come and gone. Finance ministers are now saying that the REAL deadline for resolving this crisis is in two weeks."
artificial deadline
by Mr. Bill III on Jan 29, 2016 05:43:46
A random
deadline to complete a task, which has no real world consequences. For example, your office sets Monday as the deadline on all
canned food donations for charity , but the box just sits there until Friday, which is the actual day they planned on taking it to the
food bank.
Example:
"Hey bro, did you get your weekly report done for the big boss?
He needs it today!"
"
Naaah, it's only Wednesday.
Wednesday's an artificial deadline, because he doesn't even send those reports to corporate for another week."
