Editation

An Editation is like editing in that it involves something being changed. However, when editing it does not imply editing a whole thing, whereas an Editation does.

An edit is when one composes a video filled with scenes and or pictures, using transitions and effects.

Example:
“Oh my god! That edit was amazing”
“That edit made me cry!”
“I just made an edit and posted it on Instagram”

When you post something on an internet forum or message board with the intent of changing it after a few replies have already been posted. It's usually changed to something that implies homosexuality among the now self-incriminating replies.

Edited post: Which male actor do you have sexual fantasies about on a regular basis?

the total number of copies of a book, newspaper, or other published material issued at one time.

Example:

adding effects to videos/photos, but you make those effects yourself. for example, if you use pre-made transitions/effects. that’s not real editing. (like capcut or qr code’s on videostar) editing is making your effects/transitions from scratch and adding it to a video/photo. if your using someone else’s qr code’s, you didn’t make that transition/effect, you didn’t edit that transition/effect to get that outcome. therefore using pre-made transitions isn’t editing.

Example:
i’m editing mary saotome on after effects right now.
