FOX
1. A television network that produces the most degrading, mind-retarding, digressive, low-budget reality programming on the planet. It has gained credibility as a major network by consistently feeding the masses with crap that fills them up. High points for
the network include animated shows, especially Family Guy, which they eventually cancelled.2. A news program that is the most sensationalist of all of the 24 hour news channels. Again, FOX NEWS has experienced high viewership due to its unparalleled ability to catch the eye of the imbecile with ridiculously exaggerated reporting and other tactics aimed at getting viewers first, and giving correct,
unbiased, factual news second. Also a perfect example of how the media, in all actuality, is much more conservative than liberal. The common misconception that the media is liberal is based on surveys that asked
anchors, reporters, and other people that are on the camera to give their political affiliation. The
survey should have been done on the big businessmen that own everything, who are the people that get to decide what gets on the air and who gets to keep their jobs. 3. Any of various
carnivorous mammals of the genus Vulpes and related
genera, related
to the dogs and wolves and characteristically having upright ears, a pointed
snout, and a long bushy tail.

(VERB) To cancel or
abort prematurely. Comes from the way the FOX television network has a habit of canceling fantastic shows before anyone realizes how good they are.
Examples of
FOX'd shows: Futurama, Family Guy,
Firefly.

American television network.
The face of evil in modern media. Introduced the world to
trash TV two decades ago with such pointless crap as "The Morton Downey Jr. Show" and have continued the trend with such recent entries as "
Who's Your Daddy?" and "The Swan."
Despite this, news division and all-news cable channel are so rabidly pro right-wing you almost expect nazi propaganda films to play after midnight. Often decries "immoral" activities and supports war on the grounds of "fighting the forces of evil."

1. A strange public television channel (used to be my favorite) that used to have good shows (futurama, family guy, john doe,
andy richter,
greg the bunny...) but now is mostly crappy reality shows, bad ideas no one else would take, american idol, the simpsons and that 70s show. That 70s show is actually one of the few things they show that's actually good. On the other hand, they've either showed or
greenlit and then dropped at least 3 shows that have been taken up by adult swim, some quite successfully.
2. Used to describe someone, usually female, as incredibly attractive.

A once magnificent television network launched on
April 5th 1987 with "Married...With Children"(A personal fav.) and "The Tracey Ullman Show" (the original home of The Simpsons). As the 1990's hit, FOX would become the breeding ground for some of the best programming in the past decade (not to mention its outlandish specials) and the dump-tank for some of the BEST media promotion stunts i have ever heard of (ot: If there was a FOX Spring Break
Wet T-Shirt Monster Truck Supermodel
Striptease Bash now, that would become the DEFINING moment of My Teen years!!!) Now it has deteriorated into an FCC ass kisser w/ very grotesque programming. (W/ the exception of The O.C. and The Simpsons!!!) We can only hope it returns to its defiant ways

verb. The intentional interpretation of a very news-worthy story to the worst possible
misleading conclusion to draw attention to an uncompelling article or to draw attention away from any article that isn't
extremely right wing - usually to the
detriment of the actual story.
This is what happens on FOX news.
