A very misunderstood religion. The people who truly follow the beliefs of Islam are called Muslims. Many people are so-called Muslims in today's society and want to ruin the religion. Islam actually teaches people to be kind, respect god's message, and to be a good human. All the stuff the media shows is a lie. Muslims are taught to read the Quran, the holy book, which is similar to the Bible and Torah. The prophet of Islam is Muhammad (PBUH). He came to the Arabs to teach them about god's words. True Muslims do not kill people for no reason. The media portrays them in a bad way. It is a monotheistic religion like Christianity and Judaism.

Another prophet, reffered to as Muhammed, appears only in the Qu'ran (one of the muslim holy books). There are three other associated holy books, the Torah, the Zabur, and the Injil (Gospel.)

In Islam there is one God called Allah he is the creator of this world, and is not human and doesn't have any children. Muslims are followers of Islam and believe in Allah, The Prophets, and The Quran.

There are a lot of racist and inaccurate definitions and to set them straight, Islam does NOT promote terrorism or violence. If you actually read the Quran you will realize that Islam is about peace. You cannot judge MILLIONS of people on Media Lies, the media only shows the destruction caused by Muslims and exaggerates on it HOWEVER UNFORTUNATELY IN ALL RELIGIONS There are terrorists and you CANNOT JUDGE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE on a bunch of terrorists. Followers of Islam are peaceful people.

Islam is a peaceful religion whose teachings was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in 610 A.D. in Cave Hira, Mecca, Saudi Arabia. This monotheistic faith praises 'Allah' as their god and worships him five times a day.
No Muslim is allowed to kill an innocent person, particularly another Muslim. Otherwise they would not be Muslim.

Since Islam means 'submission to the will of God', God (or Allah) wills that we DO NOT slaughter people unjustly, nor be a threat.
The thing I dislike about other people (and the media) is that they blame ISLAM for terrorism, not the people. It is wrong to judge a religion by the minority of its people, particularly evil. Studies show that over 99% of Muslims are peaceful and incline to good works. Only less than 0.1% have an extremist mindset. Another thing is that if a Muslim committed a terrorist attack, he is FIVE TIMES more likely to be hated than a normal atheist bomber. If you want proof that Islam is peaceful, STUDY THE QUR'AN!
So, in conclusion, Islam is a peaceful monotheistic religion whose people incline to justice, equality, patience, tolerance and many other desirable attributes in order to please the people.
