HISTORY: Derived from the word Nigger. Was used by whites as a derogatory term with hate, disgust, and pity towards blacks. The word was used so often towards blacks, that it became one of the first english words understood. As they understood that they were niggers. They became using the word mixed with the african dialect to nigga.

TODAY: Nigga is still used in african american culture today.

1. Feelings of Hate are still felt when a white person uses the word.
2. Some African Americans hate the word all together.
3. Used by blacks with hate towards other blacks
4. Used by blacks just to refer to an individual

(Alot of controversy since blacks use the word among themeselves, whites feel the word is ok now)

Nigger is an insult to a mans intellect, but when saying nigga, one usually doesn't mean insult or harm the other with the word. You're just addressing someone/people.

Nigga = homie

Nigga = dude

Example:
What up my white nigga?

Sup, my caucasion nigga?

Sup, my niggas? What's good?
