Radiohead
Originally called On A Friday, Radiohead is a band that is miles ahead of the rest of the crap released nowadays. Ranked 73 in Rolling Stone's list of greatest artists, Radiohead is made up of five members: frontman Thom Yorke, guitarist Jonny Greenwood, bassist Colin Greenwood (who is the older brother of Jonny), drummer Philip Selway, and other guitarist Ed O'Brien. Radiohead has released eight studio albums, a few of which are considered classics. They are Pablo Honey (1993), The Bends (1995), OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000), Amnesiac (2001), Hail to the Thief (2003), In Rainbows (2007), and The King of Limbs (2011). While Pablo Honey is not as acclaimed as the earlier albums, it is the album that made the band hit it big, as it carried their hit single, Creep. Other famous songs by the group include Fake Plastic Trees, High and Dry, Paranoid Android, Karma Police, No Surprises, Idioteque, Everything in its Right Place, Pyramid Song, Reckoner, Nude, and (most recently) Lotus Flower.Radiohead
The greatest band in the entire fucking world. Started out as a punk band by the name of "On a Friday". Changed their name to Radiohead in tribute to a Talking Heads song. Have evolved from a simple pop band to one of the most complex, and completely different bands out there. Sadly, they have only had a handful of hits.

What more can be said about this band?
Radiohead are truly brilliant and one of the most original bands out there today. Most Radiohead fans say their least favorite album is Amnesiac (2001) but I love all six of their CD's because each one has it's own unique style to it. Anyone who slightly likes Radiohead can't deny their awesome talent in The Bends, OK Computer and/or Kid A.
Never before have I heard such a diverse band with songs that could be described as Acid Jazz, Industrial, British rock, Classical depressant, etc.
Some people do not like Radiohead and it is completely understandable because it is not easy listening music. It isn't some pop song that everybody loves within the first 30 seconds of the song and then gets bored with it in a month. It's music that grows on you over time and eventually hits you with a permanent mark that leaves you in amazement.
(And to the Nirvana fan that hates Radiohead: You're clearly an idiot because I think Nirvana is fucking awesome. What's wrong with enjoying both? You are obviouisly closed minded to music and therefore your opinion doesn't matter.)

Radiohead
A band which was founded in 1985, whom achieved mainstream success with their single "Creep". I wouldn't consider them pop rock or particuarly mainstream but my generation doesn't really listen to radiohead much. They focus on depression and other interesting aspects of life. They surprisingly can be relaxing. They're unique in their style. I'd put them with The Clash and Nirvana.
Example:
Person A "I just listened to some Radiohead, so relaxing"
Person B "Who the f*** are Radiohead"

Example:
"Yo, dude! Belinda gave me the best radiohead last night!"
"Yeah, what'd she hum?"
"Lady Gaga B)"

Radiohead
An english alternative rock band that formed in Oxfordshire in 1985 by the name of 'On a Friday'.
Achieved a world wide smash hit single 'Creep' in 1992, but came to detest being recognized a as one hit wonder band. So the members decided to explore new ground with each subsequent and diverse album, dipping their musical toes in Jazz, Electronica, Avant-Garde, Space and Art rock.
By 2007 they had released their seventh studio album over the internet, but with a catch... buyers could purchase the album for whatever price they wanted. Even for nothing.
Radiohead have developed a massive fan base over the years and have been regarded critically by many as one of the greatest bands alive today, having been chosen by the Rolling Stone magazine as one of the greatest artists of all time.
But on a separate note, anyone who cites Radiohead as 'boring' or 'pretentious', HAS CLEARLY NEVER BLOODY LISTENED TO 'KID A' IN THEIR LIFE!!!!!!!

"Oi mate, this Radiohead stuff is naff!"
(hands a copy of 'Kid A')
(1 hour later)
"Good lord, I'm sorry I ever doubted you! This album is AMAZING!"

Radiohead
A guy named Thome Yorke who moans into a mic and has annoying back up sound that clashes with the bad singing (moaning).
