This is a supermarket where all the upper class gits shop, you will find that they are usually wearing some form of barber coat, a green grocers cap and some hunter wellies. These people tend to be allergic to sainsburys and other stores containing chavs and scumbags. Personally, I like to call them "rich, upper class pricks" but please, call them what you will.

The supermarket of choice in British snob culture. If you're going to the UK, just go to a combination of Tesco and Aldi, don't bother with Waitrose or the other pseudo-upper class stores, might as well get the same things (whether own brand or branded) at better prices.

A Waitrose is a shop that mainly either working mums, pensioners or torys shop at. Here you can find things like essential champagne and essential caviar. A Waitrose is normally 2 times the price of a regular supermarket
