An expression used to convey various reactions to events. ‘What the fuck?’ may be used in an attempt to explain any one or combination of the reactions/emotions listed below and then some.

A: Confusion
B: Incredulous confusion
C: Surprise
D: Disappointment
E: Hurt
F: Anger
G: Ironically
Example:
‘What the fuck?’ Is rarely used as a positive statement; however it may be used ironically to convey such is life (refer ex G)


A: Confusion
Why would someone use someone else who is in love with them?

B: Incredulous confusion
How could you use me to make him jealous?, to get yourself a valentines day present?, to add some excitement to your life?, to distract you?, to improve your ego?, to do most of your study?, to improve your sex life?

C: Surprise
It is a surprise to me that people can even think that way, can lie so much even to themselves, can take pleasure from causing others pain, can actually be proud of themselves for being a total arsehole

D: Disappointment
It disappoints me that even now you cannot tell the truth; that you can forget so much so easily; that it was all a lie, all just a game to you

E: Hurt
Guess what? – when you think you can feel no more pain, there is always more. To be lied to and used by someone that you have given yourself to is more hurt than anyone should have to feel

F: Anger
I am angry at myself for being a tool; I sometimes feel anger towards Tracey for being a bogan

G: Ironically
Everything I do even now, benefits you in your little game and hurts me even more. Every chance I give you just allows you to tell more lies; I am sick of Tracey time. I will talk to him, the truth will by known one way or the other. This is between us three; if he will not speak to me, I will speak to others. I have given more than enough opportunities for the truth to be told. This cannot continue. You will always be a Victorian

Phrase uttered while someone has no idea as to what just may have just happened. Almost always exclaimed at very loud volume, such as a shout, and if done properly - the emphasis is on the words "fuck" and "that", ie:
what the FUCK was THAT?

Used commonly as a remark of surprise to a nonsensical statement by youtuber Jacksfilms in his popular "Your Grammar Sucks" series, it has leaked out of the internets and into the real world. It was originally a failed attempt at typing "What the fuck" by youtuber alpen000, and when appearing in Jack's YGS series (episode 21), Jack reads the comment as it is supposedly pronounced, saying it with a heavy foreign accent of his own creation. Jack's way, the only correct way, of pronouncing ":a what a fucke?!" is as follows: "A-whah-da-foook?", making sure to rise in pitch as the expression progresses. Note that the phrase has four syllables, but occasionally, Jack will repeat the da and make the phrase have 5 syllables. It is applicable in real life to any situation where one may say "what the fuck" or in any other bizarre situation.
Example:
Toby Turner: Jack! Your girlfriend says she's tired of being made fun of, and is breaking up with you!
Jack Douglas: :a what a fucke?!

2. An expression of extreme annoyment or frustration, usually after a recent chain of bad events has just been added to by something that just happened.
3. A more emphatic form of "what".
4. Roughly translates to, "I tire of considering this decision and will go ahead and do what I was thinking of doing originally." Synonymous with fuck it.
Example:
1. What the fuck? Why is there a car in my driveway?
2. What the fuck?! Why does this always happen?
3. What the fuck is that?
4. Maybe I shouldn't steal this car... Eh, what the fuck.

Example:
1. Being so shocked your mind is just thinking "What the fuck".
2. Not believing that you have actually done something that is this amazing and/or someone else did.
3.Blank mind.
4. Something happenes very very very unexpectedly that leaves a lingering presence of "What-The-Fuckness"
