Friendzone:

The friendzone is a terrifying place for young men, as it resides deep in Satan's ass crack. When a young man attempts a romantic/sexual relationship with a woman and is rejected due to her disinterest, he dramatically exclaims that he is in the friendzone. The woman insists that they are 'just friends' but the young man cannot comprehend, as the dating pool has always looked like an arcade to him, and women the machines that you insert kindness coins until sex or a relationship falls out.

Then the man blames the woman for his inability to land a date/girlfriend/someone to cradle his balls. 3 magical symbols appear, to guide him into the friendzone. First, his fedora descends from the heavens, embellished with naked ponies. Then, it starts raining Monster drink, and the man is soaked in the presence of excessive sugar and whining. Finally, he emits a warning call (most likely by trolling on Reddit) and finally the friendzone swallows him.

We are not sure what happens in the friendzone itself, but the faint echoes of "I'm a nice guy" can be heard all the way from the ass crack of Satan. It's truly a terrifying place, where one can lament about other women's shortcomings and call them "bitches, sluts and whores" when the whining just won't cut it.

The seventh level of hell, where despite all and any efforts to the contrary, no member of the opposite sex will ever see you as anything more than conversation.

"Friend zone" describes the way most women stop seeing a male friend as dating material after a certain amount of time has passed, even though she might have begun dating them had he acted differently when they first met.

John meets Mary. Mary thinks "This guy seems nice. He's quite funny and reasonably good looking". John doesn't ask Mary out, but they see each other at social functions. After a while, Mary stops seeing John as a nice guy who is quite funny and reasonably good looking, and just sees him as friend. John realizes he's secretly madly in love with Mary and begins trying to hang out with her more and more. Because John loves Mary, he stops behaving reasonably and starts doing anything just to spend time with her. Eventually, he summons his courage and confesses his love for her. But Mary just feels uncomfortable and confused. She doesn't want to lose her friend and she feels pressured by his feelings for her. To be honest, John's been a little needy and pathetic lately, hanging on her every word and catering to her every whim, and that's not really very sexy.

John had a chance when they first met but he fucked it up by not doing anything about it. When he finally got his act together, the friendship that developed actively interfered with his potential of getting Mary to go on a date with him.

A state of being that self-loathing people place themselves in when they are friends with someone they want to date. These people assume that the person in question, who is typically a girl, is acting with malicious intent. The truth is, the person who has been friend zoned is mainly the one at fault because they're either not growing a pair so they can ask the other person out, or they're just taking a previous rejection from the person they're pining over by being a friend that will never be more than that--the closest they can be to their love interest.

If you're stuck in the friend zone, it's just as much your fault as it is theirs, if it's not mostly your fault.

When a female that the male finds attractive initiates, seeks out or is receptive to regular contact with the male but rejects any hint of a relationship suggested by him. Never mentioning any boyfriend, especially if initiated after initial friendship with the male, she may even be between relationships; but at the very least has the friended male as a backup plan and enjoys leading him on as time goes by. As such there may be deception on part of the female to divert conversation away from anything to suggest she has a boyfriend which will upset and\or lead the friended male to walk away. There may be relationship instability with her partner and she seeks out the friended male for emotional support. In the ultimate double standard, she stakes a claim on the friended male while progressing other outside possibilities or an actual relationship with her partner which is kept secret. As there is lingering doubt in the mind of the female, one avenue the friended male can pursue is to improve his physical appearance. He can also friend other females around her to see if she becomes jealous as a sign of how much she may like him. Lastly the friended male can query common friends to try to ascertain if she is single but he may avoid this for his own emotional wellbeing. However if the male uncovers the deception of the female in a secret active relationship, his trust and friendship with her will be eroded; ultimately putting any possible relationship with him at risk.

A term created by self-obsessed retards who think they're clever. Used particularly by insecure, millenials who act like sheep and feel a need to categorise everything
