waved him off
by Tina Ballance on Apr 12, 2008 08:17:10
A name for a hand gesture you do to someone when you want them to do your bidding and/or change their mind for them. It is a reference to
the Jedi mindtrick seen in the Star Wars movie where the Jedi says "these are not the
droids you are looking for" and gestures and the
bad guys reply "these are not the droids we are looking for and walk away. They really were the droids they were looking for.
Example:
Tina: "How did you get Max to work for you again so you could get a couple weeks off?"
Jeff: "I waved him off with the old
Jedi mind control. It was easy."
dust him off

To completely rid yourself of the
nuisance of someone else's presence. This often involves beating the
proverbial, living sh*t out of said nuisance, or putting their corpse
six feet under--whichever is preferred in order to achieve the desired result. You may substitute names, proper nouns of gender, and mix names, proper nouns, and expletives to ensure the proper result of your speech.
Example:
He spilled all my liquor! I'm about to dust him off!
Mr. Officer, he ran the red light and hit
my brand new truck! He's lucky I didn't dust his ass off!
If I hear that this trick is trying to keep me away from my kids, I'm gonna have to dust her off!
Don't be mad because she chose me! You know the rules! Keep acting up, and I'm gonna dust
yo' ass off!
Bro, I'm surprised you let Jenna get away with stealing all your money. If I were you, I would've
dusted that bitch off!
