Pop culture, short for
popular culture, describes the lifestyle and tastes of the majority of mostly younger people. Music by people like Britney Spears and
Hillary Duff are examples of
pop culture, as is emo and prep. Pop culture changes with the youth of the world.
Example:
Linsey Lohan is part of pop culture, and so were the Beatles, swing and
opera, back in the day.

the cultural phenomenon that facilitates the definition of words on the internet. Pop Culture simply denotes a widely accepted group of practices or
customs. Goths, preps, youths all are parts of
its' embodiment, but so are you/we,
internet users who slander others on websites.
Example:
nearly anything on
television.
books on bestseller lists. top
grossing movies. as well as their respective countercultures.

short for
popular culture. is pretty much anything that can be identified by the
majority of the
youth population. and when i say youth, i mean anyone from 6-30. in short, pop culture is jokes, practices, groups of people, and terms that are used by/funny to the majority of the youth population.
Example:
pop culture is referenced in movies a lot, especially in
animated (or non-animated) adventure movies that can be watched and (mostly) understood by anyone. like putting
internet memes or
cat videos in a movie.

Someone who knows everything featured on the internet, in movies,
in the music scene, or on TV, and uses it in daily life (and makes it cool not geeky). If you say something remotely close to a line from a movie, they might quote it. Want to know anything about a youtube video you haven't seen yet? Ask
the pop cultured guy.
They probably use lol in real life.
Example:
"Dude, Steve just referenced Star Wars, Kanye West, and
Rick Roll'd in the same 5 minutes."
"Yeah, he's
so pop cultured."

A contraction for "popular culture", this is more or less a colection of
cult movie qoutes, figures and dirty jokes that have been found funny by audiences worlwide, now
crucified by over-use from teenagers and fat people with greasy T-shirts. The pop culture killers have typically seen just about every movie you've ever heard of and know all the qoutes. They will worship the sources of thier material as if they were some religious book. Deeply offended when criticised, and will use insults from thier movie collection.

A horrid way-of-life where goths (who spray
Axe and shop at Hot Topic) and preps (who watch MTV and shop at
Aeropostale) go and insult each other. Yes, there is some
intergration, but usually they just insult each other on the way they look.
