verb: To stab or shank someone.
From a particular series of
Call of Duty 4 Domination matches where a player by the handle ClanClan (slightly changed to retain
anonymity)seemed to be stabbing anyone in a 5 foot radius, he was dubbed "
BladeMaster" by the other players, author included.
Example:
Aww man, I just got
Clan-Clan'd!
Dude, I just Clan-Clan'd that
sucka!
"Did you hear? Some guy got Clan-Clan'd at the club last night?"
"Yeah, I heard about that, I saw it on the news this morning."

A word to refer to a closely-knit group usually quite large and fiercly

A group of online gamers or
lanning gamers who fight as a united group.
Often
traced back to there been friends, colleges or just fighting for a common goal such as to be the considered best, to be considered a
real gamer and not a noob or just fun
Example:
Telstra GameArena runs Clan
Ladders, where anything up to hundreds of clans usually about 8 ppl can come together and
fight on common servers with constant rules. Ie: anti cheating etc
In games such as Cs or Dod

A group of people working together in online multiplayer games. They may just
play together for fun, or have training sessions and compete in tournaments.
While there are exceptions, a majority of clans are filled with
holier-than-thou assholes who think they're really something because they have a tag in front of their nickname. Any questioning of clan members
invariably results in getting insulted repeatedly, so it's best to just let them be idiots and remember what it was like to be a teenager on the Internet anonymously.

A clan is similar to the mafia family,
Clan name=
origional family name
A number of families=a clan
clans are also know as Famlies, other families can become assosiates of
the clan by marrying into it but they will never be members or 'family' because you have to be related by blood, clan or family members can be members of a gang structure but the family always comes first,
membership of gangs also leads to links or ties between clans.
Example:
my mothers mother is the head of the clan because she is decended from the
origional founder by blood, this means that i am
a member of the family, i am also a 'pure blood member' because i am directly decended from the origional founder, although my father is loved by
all in the family, he will never be more than an assosiate because he is not blood related to the clan.
