The
search for a
missing item, typically undertaken by a man, that often results in that object not being found. It is specifically defined (
in my opinion) by looking for something WITHOUT having to move anything.

The act of looking for an item and failing to locate it when it is
in plain sight, or when its location has been carefully described to the
searcher. Behavior is usually exhibited by males, though females may occasionally Man Look. Man Looking may also be referred to as temporary
male blindness.

When a male conducts a
half assed attempt at searching for a missing object. Said object is usually
in plain sight, and sometimes within a 10ft
radius.
To look, but not really see.
Example:
Husband: "
heyyyyy babe, have you seen my wallet?"
Wife: "did you look
in the kitchen?"
Husband: "Yeah, I've searched EVERYWHERE. It's gone!"
Wife:*locates wallet in kitchen in 4.8647 seconds* "here honey, it was in the kitchen right next to the
coffee pot. Admit it, you man-looked for this"

the quick glancing a male does when looking for something that his significant other sent him to look for with specific
directions on how and
where to find it.
Example:
Wife says to husband. John, please get me
my green coffee mug in the second cupboard to the left of the sink on the the second shelf all the way in the back right hand corner. Man says to wife from kitchen. Honey
I can't find it. Wife answers husband. Did you "look" for it or did you just man-look!?
