A raid is when a bunch of people who play a game too much,
get together to
play the game some more. Because they have to work together to kill the biggest
bosses.
Example:
A: What's going on, is like the whole world
noobified, like the exact
same time?
B: It's my
guild, we are doing a raid.

Raid is a powerful bug
spry, used to kill spiders and crap.
On internet forums, 'raiding' is having a large group of people spam another form, putting up huge images to crash people's computers, spamming to ruin conversation, and generally slow down the forum being
raided.
Example:
Ex. 1. Aw, man. A spider! Get the
Raid, man! It's
getting closer!
ex.2 (on forum) Dudeguy1:Hey, guys, let's go
raid the
HSM fanboard!
MAN37456:Cool!
HOOHEE12: Alright!
(More and more agreement)
Dudeguy1: Alright! 7:00.
(agreement)
MOD: LOCK!
