Used variously to describe full-coverage running clothes (for cool weather), tennis and soccer warmup clothing, and any other kind of vaguely athletic-looking leisure suit. Usually a matched two-piece getup, frequently featuring stripes or designs of some kind. Status brands are Adidas, Fila, and Nike.Worn by athletes, criminals, juvenile delinquents, and middle aged people who have given up hope.

Although on a good occaison dale will be spotted wearing only his black tracksuit (reserved for important Black trackuit functions attended by soccer coaches) Dale has always had a passion for tracksuits, from when a boy he dreamed of one day owning a wardrobe full of nothing but tracksuits. For people who have seen dale, they will notice he loves tracksuits. on recent occasions dale has been spotted with an apprentance. His 'miniture' is the exact replica of dale and one day also hopes to own a wardrobe full of tracksuits.

Worn by girls who go out in their pyjamas to Tesco, corner shop for fags etc. Usually Primark pyjamas. Can also include indoor-based booties.

Coined during the case of Shannon Matthews, when many unemployed locals of the Dewsbury estate were filmed outside in their pyjamas regularly.
Example:
To my horror whilst shopping in Waitrose, I saw one of those awful benefit types pushing a trolley around and wearing a Dewsbury Tracksuit.
