Gangster Rap
Most rappers who clim to be killers or gang members have no actual acountable history or assosiation with gang activity. These are the ACTUAL gangster rappers/producers who have been in gangs and lived the life the other rappers talk about. The most involved and violent is probably Suge Knight who had connctions to the LAPD and real hardtime criminals. 2nd ll None--(Elm Street Pirus) 40 Cal--(TSG Thurston Street) Above the Law--(Crips) All Frum Tha I--(Inglewood Family Bloods) Bad Azz--(Insane Crips) Battlecat--(Insane Crips) Big Syke--(Inglewood Imperial Village Crips)

gangster rap is
a form of story telling, much like
Quintin Tarrentino movies.
gangster rap is from the Westcoast of America in 1980s. With themes as;
*money
*sexual conquest
*crime
*brotherhood
*anger
*and life in the slums
gangster rap is sadly emulated by brats and kiddies, who need to grow a pair and grow out of it. Useally with funk/
backbeat acompany.
Example:
"
onetime tried to get my
crome I said: yo! its on!"
B-real, cypress hill.
Gangster rap is for entertainment not emualtion

A sub-genre of
rap people
seem to think represents the whole of the rap
genre.
Example:
Person A: Oh man, I fucking hate
rap. It's just about niggas and hoes!
Person B: Yes, If you
minus the tons of other rap sub-genres out there, rap is nothing more than niggas and hoes.
