Taking a beer can, shaking it up and exploding it by the forceful slamming of said can against one's forehead. The real art of this game involves careful placement of beer can on forehead, force of impact, and splatter distance. Masters of this game value winning not only at detonating the can, but how far each half of the split can travels, number of attempts needed to detonate, but also making sure audience members enjoy the sport.

A drinking game that doesn't require much drinking. Participants slam a shaken-up beer, sideways, into their forehead with a goal of detonating. This, of course, occurs after a crazy pump-up yell of "DETONATOR!". If a detonation is not achieved, the beer is passed, spraying or not, to the next person, who then attempts to detonate. One who detonates is fucking HARDCORE.

After chugging a can of beer (this does not work with a bottle) one smashes it against his head or that in the surrounding vicinity, aka detonating it, until it is crushed. Then, said detonator throws it wherever he pleases and the act of detonating it is completed. Usually leads to someone getting laid and or married.
Example:
Jake: Hey Addie I really like you we should hang out some.. wtf

(Garrett finishes chugging his beer and detonates it on Jake's head, the proceeds to throw it directly in the face of Chapman)

Garrett: DETONATE, bitch

Chapman: Are you kidding me? I'm from Rye.
