Kazuya (common written as 和也, 和矢, or 和哉 in 漢字 and alternatively as かずや in ひらがな and カズヤ in カタカナ) is a masculine Japanese name, meaning 'peaceful one', 'harmony', and/or 'to be'. Ironically, the meaning of the name Kazuya is the exact opposite of the character Kazuya Mishima from the
Tekken series, which is often accredited as the most notorious use of the name.
Informally speaking, Kazuya is a (mostly) single-gendered (masculine) subspecies of
homo sapien sapiens that
harbor mild to moderate addictions to gaming. As a result, the
Kazuya's natural habitat is any jungle of electrical
wires, especially those that concern audio or video input. Distinctive behavioral traits of the Kazuya include spontaneous randomness and an absurd fetish for the
butchering of words. However, contrary to common belief, Kazuyas are not socially awkward but in fact very well-versed in not only Guyspeak, but the language of love as well (alternatively known as flirting, kissing, and other romance-y and/or couple-y things). All in all, Kazuyas are very interesting and are a suggested area of study for those interested in the male gender. Suggested methods of study include excessive midnight conversations (as Kazuyas are most active then) and experimental (but preferably protected) sex, among other things.
Example:
Kazuya is adorable, appealing, attractive, charming, cute, good-looking, gorgeous, handsome, hot,
kissable,
pulchritudinous,
sensuous, sexy, and voluptuous; he is also my boyfriend (and not yours).
