Pennsauken
A suburb right over the bridge from Philly, and near
Cherry Hill,
Moorestown,
Maple Shade,
Merchantville, Mt. Laurel, and yes, Camden. Although not everyone who lives here is ghetto, many people insist on acting like it. A lot of Camden kids fake their address to go to our high school, thus our basketball team is pretty decent. We have virtually no pride in our football team, but our marching band usually keeps the stands full. There is a Wawa practically on every corner here, and the one right by the high school probably gets the most business, especially from the auto shop kids "test-driving" cars. Here, you will meet some of the most intelligent people and some of the stupidest people on the planet. But, no matter how much we complain about it,
Pennsauken's residents have an overwhelming pride for the place and the first ones to defend it whenever people from neighboring towns call us "ghetto," or "going downhill." Our high school's jazz band is kick-ass and Pennsauken-ites have a vocabulary all their own, such as "too souped," "let's get faaaacked," and "ayo!"Often used to refer to something that is ghetto, or just as a general adjective.

A town in South Jersey that borders two cities, Camden and Philadelphia, and Cherry Hill among many other smaller towns. Pennsauken is known for having many large, fancy, rich people houses, and small, crappy, row homes that poor people live in only a few blocks from each other. For some reason people from other nearby South Jersey towns incorrectly believe that everyone in Pennsuaken carries a gun and sells drugs. Only about half of them do. On any given day between 7:00am and Noon you will find at least 1/3 of
Pennsauken's obese population walking around cooper river. It is not uncommon to be "jumped" in Pennsuaken. The east side of Rt. 130 is typically the safe side, while the west side is typically the shadier side, although many exceptions exist to this guideline. Their High School Mascot is the Indian. Bishop Eustace Prep and Camden County Tech are also located in Pennsuaken.
Camden Catholic High school might as well be, even though its street address is Cherry Hill. All the nice places in Pennsuaken are actually in
Merchantville, not Pennsauken, which is commonly assumed to be a part of Pennsauken.
Example:
Person: Hey! Meet me at
River rd. and 46th street in Pennsauken tonight at 11.
Person 2: No way! I don't want to get
jumped!
Pennsauken Green Light

When one is unsure of his or her partner's sexual intentions, so they continue to pursue in the hopes that the partner is in fact interested.
Based on the horrendous
traffic light system in
Pennsauken, New Jersey in which you can't really tell if the light is actually green, so you
carry on hoping that you're right.
Pennsauken Marching Band

The
Pennsauken Marching Band is The Marching Band at Pennsauken High School. Its the only school in the north where "halftime is
game time". While the pride for most other sporting events are
lack luster at best Pennsauken proudly boast about having the most obnoxious loud and crazy fan base possible lead by the proud parents of these marching bruisers. While no actual physical altercations have broken out in its history they're not afraid to get in anyones face if you look at them the wrong way.
Example:
Freakin run its the Pennsauken Marching Band.

Quandale Dingle’s hometown. It’s also a “culturally enriched”
cesspool that’s on its way to becoming Camden 2.0 in the next decade. Don’t believe me? Walk down a neighborhood and count how many
chirping smoke detectors you hear.
