Band Geek
A person who is in band and affiliates with band. Spends most of their time in the band room doing scales sheets, practicing their instrument/music, doing nothing at all, or better yet... To piss off the band director. Often talks about band related things, mostly awesome composers and pieces ever made. Can be random at times, talking about CSI,
Les Mis (Best Musical Ever Made!), House,
DCI, etc. Also loves to make videos of themselves or other band geeks. These videos are often recorded at band
fundraisers, the band room, football games, or around school campus. If things in the band room get boring, a band geek tends to mess around with the band
director's van or car. Band geeks can be some of the the coolest people you'll ever meet.

Band geeks are the coolist people you could ever know. The band room is their home away from home, they're there in the morning before school, when they should be in their other classes, for band, and after school. They often are in many different bands such as marching band, jazz band, and concert band. They go to every football and basketball game, not to watch their school teams win, but to be in
pep band and often times play better than the sports teams. They usualy date other band geeks, or
orch dorks, and hate those
chior kids.

Those
band geeks play better than the football team.
I'm such a
band geek, I'm at school 2 hours before it starts, 4 days a week so I can be in
jazz band, have advanced band every day in 5th period, and on Wed. I have sax lessons!

Many people have pre-concieved notions about
band kids. Most of these notions are either wrong, or only partially correct. The truth about band kids is that they are
not crazy all the time, they aren't dorky, and they aren't lame. They are normal, more normal than most are. They are even cool, because they don't hide a part of themselves. In addition, they can play challenging instruments with ease, and make formations on a
football field. They are comfortable with other band kids, and do anything that pops into their head. Ever wanted to run down the hallway, skipping, and screaming your favorite song? you probably haven't because you'd be embarrassed, the band kids have done it.

The most awesome, and random people you'll ever meet.
Bandos go to the games, outcheer the cheerleaders, and don't have any idea what sport it was they were playing for, or who won. They range from the annoying "popular" kids to the awesome random ones. To
band geeks the bandroom is their home. They tend to have a flare for innuedoes, even though a lot of them are actually innocent. May date each other, or
orc dorks. NOT
choir whores. Bandos cannot even begin to tell you how not cool choir students are.

Hey could you hear the
announcer over those
Band Geeks? No, but they
cheered really well for not noticing what sport the team was playing.

A Person or group of people who enjoy band more than most people feel is ok. You will find these people in the Band room as often as they can manage to get there. Most of their friends are
Band Geeks because Bands Geeks like and are involved in the same activities. Similar to
orch dorks and
choir nerds but cooler in every sense. Band Geeks tend to care about drama more than is necessary. Band Geeks are also more likely to listen to classical and jazz music and eventually move on and become music majors in college.

1. Someone who continually talks about band to whoever would listen, whether it is complaining or bragging. As long as it's about band then they're happy.
2. Someone who sits at the "band table" in the school lunchroom with their other
band geek friends.
3. Someone who calls the band room their home, and have cried at the end of every school year because when the seniors graduate it's like losing some of their own family members.
4. Someone who knows that the
football field was really made for marching band, because they're the only people who do something good on the field.
5. Someone who can turn just about anything dirty because of all the innuendos you can have with playing an instrument.
6. If you had
drumsticks you could be entertained for hours by just playing that music you have running through your head.

Someone whose life revolves around band.
Usually
classmates in other classes get upset, cause all this person talks about is band.
This type of teenager is usually located
in the band room.
They are there so much, they have probably tried to order pizza to the
band room.
These people are by far the coolest people you will ever meet.
And they actually have a life, unlike everyone else.
Example:
Band Geek: OMG! That song we're playing in band is amazing! I've
downloaded it on my iPod, it's my myspace song....
Student: AHH!
SHUTUP ABOUT BAND.

Made any reference to making out with an instrument
Has actaully made out with their instrument
Ever spent over
12 hours in the band room/with the band at once
Is constantly in step with the person next to them in
the halls Example:
I make out with my
sousaphone on a regular basis I am always in step with the people near me and I have spent over
12 hours at a a time on several occasions
