Demilitarized Zone
In alcoholic terms, a demilitarized zone (
DMZ) is the time period, usually
the frontier or boundary between the state of drunkeness and hangoverness, where the mind feels fresh and
unaffected by acohol. This period usually occurs at a few hours after dawn, and lasts for only a short period of time. During the demilitarized zone, one can get out of bed and walk around without feeling the affects of alcohol, like vomiting and extreme headaches.
