Country situated in Northern Europe in between Sweden and Russia. 2/3 of the country is just lakes. National language is Finnish (of the Finno-Ugric family of languages) although a small minority also speak Swedish. Famous for its typically tall, blond haired people, famous motor racing champions (such as Mika Hakkinen, Keke Rosberg and Tomi Makinen), Santa Claus (supposedly), good bands such as Children Of Bodom, Impaled Nazarene and Nightwish (fronted by the stunning Tarja Turunen), not so great but strangely more popular bands such as HIM and The Rasmus, Nokia, saunas, high suicide rates and getting very drunk.

Everyone was very sad however nowadays the finish and the swedish enjoy numerous fun stuff together, such as the Swedish hockey games wich is staged in Finland every second year and in Sweden every second.

An awesome country located in the north of Europe, wedged between Russia and Sweden, and tends to experience particularly cold winters. Finland is also known as 'The Land of a Thousand Lakes', due to much of the country being lakes. The main tongue of the country is Finnish (surprisingly enough), but a minority also speak Swedish. The country's capital is Helsinki (located in the south of Finland). The country is well known for a variety of things, including but not limited to: fucking amazing metal bands (such as Mors Principium Est, Amorphis, Wintersun, Kalmah, Norther, Apocalyptica, Children Of Bodom, Ajattara, Turisas, Ensiferum, Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium + loads more), rally drivers, ice hockey players, alcoholic beverages (such as 'Finlandia' Vodka), and locals tending to have the ability to down just about anything alcoholic with ease.
All Finnish people I have spoken to have been generally awesome, laid-back, hilarious metal heads. They also tell me Finnish beer is awesome, I have yet to try some.

Finland has got many of the most beautiful women in the world. Albeit there are only 5 million inhabitants in Finland, Finland has won Miss Universe twice, and is ranking 6th (after Brasil 5th), in the world by country tally by having had 18 semifinlalists in the Miss Universe competition.
