1) Girls who are bullies and use "girl agression" (nasty comments, trickery, deceit, excluding people from events, spreading rumors, stealing boyfriends,etc.) to manipulate other girls. They will use text messaging, AIM, email, three-way-calling, and any other weapon at their disposal to acheieve these goals. (coined by Rosalind Wiseman in her book "Queen Bees and Wannabees")These girls are often popular because everyone is either afraid of them or wants to be like them. They tend to have armies of followers ("friends"/wannabees) comprising their clique. However, few people actually like them for who they are.2) A movie based on Rosalind Wiseman's book "Queen Bees and Wannabees" which takes an intimate look at the inner workings of a high school and the all-powerful girl clique who seem to run it. Starred Lindsey Lohan before she went blonde and possibly anorexic, and therefore was still "hot" (see some other definitions). Very highly watched among the high school population as many girls could actually relate to the story.

Possibly the best movie ever. It was written by Tina Fey. It's about a girl named Cady (played by Lindsay Lohan) who moves to a new school and becomes friends with a clique of bitchy girls, who are nicknamed the Plastics. Cady turns into a mean girl from hanging out with the Plastics, but in the end she realizes her mistake. It's just about the most quote-able movie ever.

Mean-girling or to mean-girl someone is when a group of mean girls mercilessly attack a lone powerless girl like a pack of rabid dogs. The attack consists of tormenting, shaming and ridiculing their victim to utter and complete humiliation. The intent is to destroy the reputation of the lone, powerless girl.

The group of mean girls usually do this to feel powerful, as a form of sport or simply because they can. It is cowardly, bullying and sociopathic behavior since it is usually a GROUP of powerful girls against ONE powerless girl.

Rarely, one mean girl can attack another girl but in this case the mean girl is usually MUCH MORE POWERFUL than her victim and attacks her victim specifically because she knows the victim is powerless and unable to defend herself.

Mean girl 1: I feel like crap today. I've go so much work to do and my boyfriend just dumped me.

Mean girl 2: I know what will make you feel better. Let's go mean-girl that girl over there. She's all alone and she looks different from everyone else. She stands out and will make a perfect victim.

um, only the most iconic movie ever! it's a teen Netflix movie that was released in 2003 starring Rachel McAdams as Regina George, Lindsay Lohan as Cady Herron, Amanda Seyfried as Karen Smith, and another girl (I forget her name) as Gretchen Wieners. it's about high school drama with boys, friends, rumors, exc.. soooo yeah that's Mean Girls in a nutshell!
