Panic! at the Disco

This band from Las Vegas is popularly known for the song “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”. Although the rock band has many other amazing songs, this song is certainly one of the most popular. People who consider themselves as real fans know the lyrics to mostly all of the songs from the more popular “Death of a Bachelor”, to the less favored, “Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks”. Panic! at the Disco has had many band members come and go, but now consists of only Brendon Urie. The wonderful singer has a Woden vocal range and is very successful with the band. The original band members were still in high school when the band was formed as Panic! at the Disco was formed in 2004. The band does not only change its members, but also it’s genres! Pop punk, emo pop, alternative rock, baroque pop, synth-pop, and pop rock are all words to describe Panic at the Disco’s songs.

Panic! at the Disco
Obviously the best band to ever write or preform a song! Often has long titles from books movies ect. Brendon Urie, the lead singer, is an amazingly delicious and has very luscious plump lips great for kissing! And Spencer Smith who is the drummer, often does not talk. Just sits back and does his own thing.
Example:
Panic! at the Disco is my favorite band of all time!
Brendon is my future husband!!!
Spencer can be our butler.

Panic! at the Disco
The coolest punk/emo/rock band ever. Plus has really good beats with a little pop edge.
Songs:
1. I Write Sins Not Tragedies
2. Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have without Taking Her Clothes Off
3. The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage
4. Time to Dance
5. Build God, Then We'll Talk
6. Nails For Breakfast; Tacks For Snacks
7. I Constantly Thank God for Esteban
Example:
Lanie: Did you hear Panic! at the Disco is coming to concert here!!

Karie: No Way!! I love them.

Lanie: I thought you said you didnt like pop music.

Karie: I dont. Panic! at the Disco is everything!

Panic! at the Disco
Example:
X1 - Hey, man, did you hear the new Fall Out Boy song?
X2 - You mean the one that goes "haven't you ever heard of slamming doors" or something?
X1 - Yeah, dude! It's so awesome!
X2 - I know. Whoever thought they would integrate synths into their sound?
X1 - I didn't, LOL!
X3 - That's Panic! at the Disco, faggots. Another made-for-MTV band to trick kids into thinking they have a reason to be depressed and feel like elitists for being in on "hip" music.
X1 - Dude... what?
X2 - Yeah, guy, Fall Out Boy rocks.
X1 - That one guy has a pretty sweet faux-hawk too.
X1 and X2 (in unison) - We're both 28 years old and try to pick up 12 year old girls, which comprise 99.9% of Fall Out Boy's/Panic at the Disco's/gay "emo"-"punk" band's fanbase, at these awesome shows. Also, we own iPods because we're so rebellious.

Let's cut the bullshit, people.

Panic! at the Disco
a fruity band whose music is heard at all Gap Lacoste Abercrombie stores
Example:
i was goin to foot locker when i passed by Gap and heard Panic! at the Disco music........it was really gay but the queers who were buying under-sized $85 polo shirts were enjoying it

Panic! at the Disco
A gay ass band who most fans only know because of the song 'I Write Sins Not Tradgedies'. Most girls think they're hot but the truth is they wear more makeup than your mother.
Example:
Katie:OMG PATD iz comin 2 our citi! =D
Sally:ya i kno mi mom sed i can go!
Katie:yay we can go 2getha lolz XD
Sally:hey alex u lik Panic! at the Disco????
Alex:Hell no. They wear more make up than your mother does.

Panic! At the Disco
Formed in Las Vegas, Nevada by members Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brendon Urie, and Brent Wilson, P!atd is commonly refered to as a "pop-punk" and/or " punk-rock" band. Brent Wilson, former basist, who was in the band for a very short time, left and was replaced by Jon Walker. Later in 2009, Ryan Ross (guitarist) and Jon Walker (basist) left due to creative differences and formed The Young Veins. Two albums were made with Ross and Walker; A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, and Pretty. Odd. The two albums are widely different from each other. After Ross and Walker left, vocalist Brendon Urie, and drummer Spencer Smith, created the album Vices and Virtues. Many people stereotype them to be "listened to by 13 year olds who don't know what real music is, and"emo kids." Recently, Panic!'s song "Ready To Go" has been feautured in TV commercials, causing the band to become more mainstream. Although you don't have to listen to them since the beginning when they were originally formed, it would help if you know other songs then just the ones that play on the radio and TV.
Example:
Person 1: I just started listening to Panic! At The Disco last week, and I think they're really good! Camisado is my favorite song.

Person 2: Yeah I know! I love the album Pretty. Odd.

"Poser" Person 3: Yeah! I don't know the album names but I LOVE I Write Sins, Not Tragedies, and Ready To Go. They play on the radio all the time!

panic at the disco
Panic at the Disco (formerly Panic! at the Disco) is a rock band from Las Vegas. Due to unfortunate circumstances, 80% of their fanbase is synonymous with screaming fangirls who only know their hit single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."
The other 20% are cool, intelligent people who appreciate good music and want MTV to die, and don't listen to the radio either. They know all of Panic's songs (from both their amazing yet extremely different albums, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and Pretty. Odd.) and know all the lyrics as well as their meaning. They don't listen to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance unless their genuinely like them, which would be because of their (good) older material.
Panic at the Disco blend techno and rock with theatrical touches in their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Contrary to popular belief, this was something that had never been done before. At the September 2005 release of this album, it did not get much attention from the media or really any commercial recognition at all. In early 2006, the video for their second single, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, was played on MTV's Total Requests.
Is this enough proof that this band was NOT originally meant to be "liked" by ignorant "fans" who like one song?
In March 2008 they released their Beatles-esque second album, Pretty. Odd. This experimental and risky album did lose some of the original fans, but true fans ignored the fact that it was very different from the first album and gave it a chance.
Overall, PATD are an extremely original band whose less popular songs (NOT I WRITE SINS NOT TRAGEDIES) need to be considered.
Example:
Common "fan": OMG I love Panic at the Disco!
Real fan: Really? What's your favorite song by them?
Common "fan": Well... everyone knows THAT... I Write Sins Not Tragedies!
Real fan: And do you know anything ELSE?
Common "fan": No. No one does. Do they even have other songs?
Real fan: *shoots*
