Someone who is Muslim and follows the pure and true islamic teachings of the Prophit Mushammed (pbuh) and his companions (raa) and their followers.
Someone who relates to the "Dawat'ul Salafeyah"
Someone who practices all the teachings and commands of Allah (swt) and the prophit muhammed (pbuh) as the early muslims did.

Example:
This guy is really a true muslim. He's a Salafi
He does all the prayers in the Masjid, he's a Salafi.
