enemy combatant
A military captive of the United States with no freedoms, rights or privileges. The
nomenclature derived from a series of controversial acts passed by the Bush Administration (in particularly
the Patriot Act), under which such "enemy combatants" are neither accused criminals with Constitutional Rights, nor War Prisoners subject to
