1. A scub is a person who use to be problematic (in other words, a downright horrible person in the past) but then learned what they were doing was awful and changed their ways. This can lead to people always bringing up what awful thing(s) that person did. They are ashamed of who they were and wish people understood that they’re trying to move on. They point out other people’s wrongdoings so the person can realize to not do that again, which is called preventing someone to become a scub.
