One who wears striped clothing to indicate to others that they are mad. Referring metaphorically to their brain lapsing in and out of 'normality'. Often seen hanging around local nightspots looking for trouble. Usually travel alone but may congregate with other stripers during the festive season. Can be vertical, horizontal, thick, thin, even pin.

Example:
Look out for that striper at the bar, I think she's got the horn.

A member of a subculture characterized by striped polos, messy hair, popped collars and cargo pants/shorts or ripped jeans. Stripers are usually male. They listen to both contemporary music and classic rock. There are stripers in the Americas and in Eorope.
