Bam
Extremely offensive insult in Scotland, similar to dafty. Use against neds and junkies at your peril. If one junkie uses it against a fellow junkie it can result in a hilarious verbal battle until one stabs the other, which is equally hilarious.
Usually one junkie baits the other into violent reaction so that he can claim damages in court by saying "Ya fuckin' bam". However, there is actually no space inbetween each word when a junkie uses it. Infact, the faster you can say "Yafuckinbam" the more powerful junkie you are.

The city in Iran where 20,000+ people were killed from an earthquake measuring 6.5. Strange how it's only getting about 25% of the news coverage in the UK when the attacks on the World Trade Center, New York got about 95% of the news coverage with 2,500 dead.

Universial verb that can be used for everything, much like the word "smurf" in the Smurf universe.
For example: 'Bam it in there' instead of 'put it in there'.
'Bam it to me' instead of 'give it to me' or
'I totally bammed her last night!' instead of, well you know.
Often "being bammed" is used to mean that someone has been beaten or mastered in or at someting.
Can also be mean success, or that one has completed a task or part of a task in a satisfactory manner or that one is pleased with the way things are proceeding.
In the latter case, sometimes "z" or "zu" is put infront of it to make it sound more cool, as in "z'BAM!" or "zu'BAM!"
This is sometimes taken to the extreme with a "zu'BAM-eti-BAM!!" (in which case one often also pretends to shoot at things with ones fingers, called a fingerbang)
For example: 'Bam it in there' instead of 'put it in there'.
