Deathmatch

Deathmatch and Doom 2 are basically synonyms. Minus me spelling that S word horribly wrong.Anyone who played Doom 2 probably deathmatched their neighbor until wee hours of the morning. The favorite levels to deathmatch on Doom 2 were Levels 1 and 7. Everything else was too big.

When two individuals agree to a fight to the death. This is a mode of settling conflicts which is usually neglected in modern society. A deathmatch is always an unarmed fight, otherwise it would be called a duel.

Example:
When Carl refused to leave my house when I asked, I challenged him to a deathmatch.

A game mode featured in nearly every shooter (simulator or FPS) that allows you to blow the living crap out of your opponents. It was popularized by Doom and pretty much made it a requirement for every shooter in the market after. These days multiple modes of deathmatches (like Capture the Flag and Team games) exist.

Example:
Find a buddy, start a game, and beat the living snot out of him. Do it again in another way. Repeat until you have the most kills. That's the basics of DeathMatch.

A hillarious show that used to run on MTV. The show was animated with clay and pitted 2 celebrities that had something in common (ie Nsync and the Backstreet Boys) against each other in a fight to the death.

Diarrhea Deathmatch

Two teams of three to ten people equipped with their choice of super soaker water guns (may only be super soaker brand name water guns), filled with everyones own diarrhea (add water if needed). The objective of the game is to wreak havoc upon the other enemy team with the diarrhea in the super soaker water gun (may refill if needed). Three refills per teammate.

Man, am I soaked from that diarrhea deathmatch.
