While at a social event, it is the guy/girl you know you can take home at the end of the night if you don't score with the girl/guy that you really want to hit. Usually of mediocre looks/intelligence/sex appeal.

The person with whom you will settle having sex with if your date decides 'I'm not that kind of girl/guy' and won't put out.

Example:
I was set to nail that MILF I met at the footbal game, but then her fuckin' kid sprained his ankle and couldn't spend the night at his friends house. I had to call that last resort slut on the skank block!

When you really want to get high and You don't have a piece and no one in your group knows how to roll well and all you have is a Black and Mild. You cut the wooden filter off and proceed to loosen and empty the cigar without ripping it open. Then you hollow out the tip and place the hollow cigar into the tip. Finally you pack the weed into the cigar and twist off the end. Then all you gotta do is light and enjoy.

Caution: This rips extremely hard, I'd recommend bringing a drink.

The friend you call as a last resort when all your other friends are busy. You don't really like this friend and are prone to cancel on them if you get a better offer. You may be this friend to someone else.

Bob: Hey are you free this weekend?

When there is nothing left to be said or the situation has turned awkward after a string of comments on a Facebook status. The person will then "like" the last comment on a status due to the lack of further input on the subject. The last comment however isn't the only one subject to last resort liking.

Example:
Person with status: "Just got his new car today! :D"
Person commenting: "Nice!"

Person with status will then "like" the comment made about said status due to the lack of further input that can be made.

Person with status: "Ahh, I see you pulled a last resort like."
