Italian racial slur; Only for One Italian to define another Italian. As Black People use the word N*gga.Guineas and Guidos are NOT the same thing.People usually say, Guidos are Italian. Not true. Guidos are basically wanna-be Italians. Men that dress like the stereotypical Italian or Italian American just to receive recognition by others. Many people tend to call Italians "Guido". Best bet is to just not call an Italian a Guinea if your NOT Italian, unless you want a pissed of Italian wanting to kick your ass.

"Guinea" is an American slang term for an Italian.
At the time of massive Italian immigration to the U.S. in the late 19th and early 20th centurys, most Americans lived on farms, and used a large fowl called a Guinea to keep the garden and lawns free of bugs and ticks, which they ate in great numbers.
A flock of Guineas "spoke" in a rapid, excited manner, and the newly arrived Italian immigrants spoke in a fast emotional manner that reminded the Americans of the sound that a Guinea fowl made, so the newcomers were soon dubbed "Guineas" by the local people.

Example:
(Son to Father) "Hey Pa, them I-talians sure do talk funny!"
(Father to Son) "That's rightly so boy, they strut around and babble like a gaggle of Guineas!"

A guinea is a person that belongs to the Guinea organisation which originated in the country congo. these people are fashioned with pouting lips. Guineas are extremly rare beings and very unpopular for the most part. Guineas are slow minded and often have speach impediments such as stuttering, the inability to laugh, and a quiet muffled sounding voice overall. guinea can also be used as an insult as the actual guinea has become so unpopular. therefore people who are unpopular or social out casts can often be referred to as Guineas.

a person of southern Italian and African ancestry living in the US. used to refer to the less ethnically diverse southern Italians who closely resemble their African American cousins by driving Cadillacs and wearing gold chains and having darker skin and other ethnic features not found among europeans.

Example:
hey you guinea said a white European American toa white, northern Italian. "f ... you said the northern Italian, I don't have any African in me and am not a guinea. but my cousin Louie with the Cadillac and gold chains, he's proud of his African heritage and he'll kick your as if you call him a guinea.

besides the racist slur, it's also an african country. the slur doesn't make sense actually, since guinea means "woman" in it's native tounge. anyway, it's a former french colony that actually won its independence through refurendum, not revolution. howwever, it's been failed coup after fail coup for the last 15 years due to terrible gov't. it's now considered a failed state.

The slur that Bram the Talking Wonder Dog's creator uses on the bright blue blog when he was delivered a whamline reminding him of his House of Pain E-Zine appearance. The response came with a rapid-barrage of Irish-American slurs as he had to look a few of them up as some came in Italian.

An Italian - when Italians first came to the US, they were some of the most industrious and hardest workers. When times were tough and a hard or low-scale job needed to be done, an Italian would be willing to do it for the menial wage of a Guinea (a reference to an old, nearly worthless, British coin).
