homologism
by Blamtastical on Apr 22, 2015 15:28:54
Example:
"
Homologism is rampant in my church. Everybody there assumes that you agree with waiting until marriage to have sex, even though most people won't actually care if you do it."
"I'm so tired of the way my roommate keeps homologising me. Yes, we are both gay, but that doesn't mean I agree with her that bisexual people are just afraid to come all the way
out of the closet.
Bisexuality is a real thing."
homologated
by therapist tom on Aug 18, 2010 05:53:40
Example:
buying a crossmember from one seller, control arms from another,
air bags from another,
brackets from another,
a rack from another, then trying to put them all together to make one kit - this homologation is one f-ed up homologated mess.
Homologous Pair

(This has nothing to do with homosexuality)
1. An insult used to insult the person you are insulting
2. A word used for something you don't like
3. Refers to two similar chromosomes in a
diploid cell. One
chromosome is derived from the father
gamete cell and the other from the mother gamete.

Homologous: Comes from Greek roots “Homo” same and “logós” logic/
structure.
Biology terminology: Exactly or similarly connected in structure and position to another species, but it serves different functions due to evolution.
Chemistry: Compunds that are similar in structure, but are different in reactivity, energy, and
expendable properties.
Slang: Someone who lacks intelligence, fool,
imbecile.
Example:
Exempli Gratia.
For the biological definition: “The human eye is
hombologus to the skin of a potato, both eyes are connected to an information system, but serve different purposes.”
For chemistry: “Isopropanol is homogolous to Propanol, but an
isomer has different
reactions.”
For slang: “What a Homologous.”
non-homologated love
by helldriven on Dec 23, 2023 04:26:20
non-homologated love is when you and another person had feelings for each other at one point but neither of
you knew. You can't get into a relationship
because you are in different places, or you just can't.
You could also still be in love with each other, but you are in different places or in different situations, not allowing you to be in a relationship.
Basically, you and another person can't be together because of certain
circumstances.
Example:
Friend 1: "Dude, I still love
this one girl but she
left the
country..."
Friend 2: "Did she like you back?"
Friend 1: "Yeah, she told me."
Friend 2: "You're experiencing non-homologated love."
