Back then, I wondered why they made it sound so sad and negative instead of inspiring.Yes it is true that you only need the light when it's burning low. However, that desperate feeling will help you appreciate light more in the future. Yes it is true that you only know you've been high when you're feeling low. However, that desperate feeling helps you appreciate what even just slightly higher than low.I am not saying that people prefer sunlight over snow ("You only miss the sunlight when it starts to snow"). When it's hot, they want it cold. When it snows, they want the heat.=> The moral story behind this is that what seems so bad does not seem so bad. It will help you appreacite what you never noticed or appreciated before.
