Kagome

The main heroine of the popular anime/manga title, InuYasha. Described by director Misahi Ikeda as "the accidental heroine", Kagome was a typical ninth-grade girl who was suddenly drawn into the Warring States period through the Bone-Eater's Well. Kagome was discovered to be the reincarnation of the great priestess, Kikyo, because of their resemblance and since the Shikon no Tama came out of her body. It is Kagome who lifts the enchantment placed on Inuyasha by Kikyo.Since Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation, Inuyasha counted on her to be a good archer. Her archery was awful in the beginning, but with a lot of practice she did get better at it.Kagome, like Kikyo, begins to harbor feelings for Inuyasha, which are complicated when Urasue resurrects Kikyo. Since Inuyasha likes whichever girl he's with best, Inuyasha's bond with Kagome is often compromised when Kikyo crops up in the series. Still, Kagome follows Inuyasha and continues to aid him in the fight against Naraku.

When trying to find her cat with her brother, she fell through the well and was transported hundreds of years back to the Feudal Era. Several people in the past mistake her for a preistess who has been dead for 50 years, and went by the name Kikyou. Kagome is actually the reincarnation of Kikyou. She frees a sealed half dog-demon, Inuyasha. The Shikon Jewel is restored from her body (it was burned with Kikyou's body when she died). After breaking it, she joins Inuyasha in a quest to gain the shards back. Kagome is a sweet and kind-hearted character who developes a romance with Inuyasha.

An annoying damsel in distress that constantly needs to be saved, she also lies and treats Inuyasha like a pet. She gets jealous of Kikyou all the time and constantly meddles, and just plain annoying and must die off the show

Kagome is a 15-year old school girl who was destined to meet the half demon, half human Inuyasha.

She is the greatest character in the show fro the following reasons:

- Because of her IY gets released from the tree..
- Treats Shippou like her child.
- She cares about her school grades (rofl)
- Convinced Sango and Miroku to join the group
- Wanted to get Miroku and Sango together
- Risked herself many times to save Kikyou
- Is kind hearted
- She just pwns everyone.
- Cares deeply about her friends.
- Won't give the jewel shards to the villain character. *ahem*

Her name means "Bamboo woven basket" She's the "main" female charater in InuYasha, an "avrage" (more like Mary Sue) 15 year old who gets pulled into a well and you know the rest of the story...

She may have some good points but she's an annoying Damsesl in Distress who depends on Inuyasha a we bit too much and really needs to chill out insted of abuseing Inuyasha with the sit command (but sometimes he dose deserve it) she should also quit meddling and mind her own bussiness and go back to her own time and be with Hojo
