Small character in the Harry Potter series. Was the first student in Harry's year to be sorted into Gryffindor. In the sixth book, Lavender dates Ron Weasley for some of the year. Was a very clingy girlfriend and is often chosen as least favorite female character in the series because of this. Best friends with Parvati Patil.Movies: Lavender's race was unspecified for the first five books, so she was portrayed by different black actresses. In book six, J. K. Rowling specifically says that she is white and the role was taken over by Jessie Cave for the rest of the film franchise.Fan Fiction: In many fan fictions, Lavender is paired with Seamus Finnigan. She also appears in femslash fictions.
