Music which was formerly described as "indie" music but has since received a great deal of coverage and exposure, resulting in an explosion in its popularity. Thus it is has become mainstream indie or mindie.

Also the kind of music that used to be played at Mixed Bag, every week.
Example:
A few years ago it was rare to hear Camera Obscura played anywhere, now they're really mindie. They were even played in NEXT.

Mixed Bag is so disappointing. They don't even pretend to be indie anymore, all they play is the same mindie songs every week.

That band's so mindie now, they were on TMF!

Mindy is the type of girl that will always put a smile on your face, she sweet when ever you’re feeling down she always cheer you up, she’s caring, nice, beautiful, she’s the type of person that will always be by your side now matter what’s happening she’s really thoughtful, she always puts her friends first than she worry’s about herself, she amazing like she will go through anything just to make you feel happy, she beautiful, whenever you see her you’ll start blushing by how beautiful she is, she’s just overall amazing she’s one of the best things that have ever happened in my life I hope that we never fight and we always stay together she punches really hard and she leaves you bruises but for a good reason, to save your life. Mindi is an amazing person she’s is one of the most trustworthy persons you well ever meet . Mindi’s are sweet, caring, generous, kind, helpful and so much more you want a Mindi in your life. Mindi’s care about you way more than themselves. They can be in pain but you would think that they are perfectly fine because they hide it. Mindi’s devote themselves to god. They have beautiful curly red hair. And they are amazing moms they go through so much that they don’t deserve. I had a Mindi and my life that I will never forget.

Mainstream-indie. Word for bands that once were indie or alt but have now either sold-out or received large press exposure causing them to sell out. Basically the terrible bands on the twilight soundtrack and others of that ilk. Can also be bands you've heard of but probably never listened to. like Interpol

Example:
Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Foster the People (i.e. pumped up kicks), Vamp Weekend, The Strokes, Interpol, DCFC, and Muse are all examples of mindie

caution: don't listen to muse, or you will turn into a girl with no taste in anything.
