Turbo A

An MA70 Supra that was highly modified for Group A racing. Released in 1987, the Turbo A was exceptionally fast and turned alot of heads. Only 500 were ever made thus making it extremely rare. In addition to it's rarity, It was only released in Japan. All 500 cars were painted black and sported black rims. The powerplant was a specially tuned 7M-GTE 3.0 liter I6 DOHC single turbo engine that squeezed out 270 HP stock. The car also was equipped with an intercooler and an upgraded CT-26 turbo known as the CT-26(A). The car posed a major threat to most cars then and now. It was dubbed the most powerful Japanese car until 1989 when the R32 Skyline GT-R was released (280 HP). The Turbo A was not so different form the original MA70 Supra when it comes to the exterior looks, execpt the Tri-vent on the front bumper and the fact it sat lower. The Turbo A will always be known as one the most revolutionary Japanese GT car of the late 1980's and beyond.

Short for turbocharger. A method of forced induction that uses exhaust gasses to turn a turbine, which in turn drives an intake pump to force more air into the engine. Available on many vehicles as a factory option or as an aftermarket kit.
Example:
The turbo option for my car was expensive, but I love the extra power!

Turbo is a setting or level on which things can be put. Putting something on "turbo" implies it is faster, better, crazier, or overall more superlative in whichever context the term is used. Also whatever else you want it to mean; people will understand.

It is similar to the phrase "putting on blast" but applicable in a wider series of contexts.
Example:
Aye if we tryna get some tonight we gotta put that shit on turbo with these women!

Damn bruh did you see how I pulled up on those mugs in CoD? I put they asses on turbo for real.

a method of smoking a joint using a plastic bottle, a hole is burnt into the bottom section of the bottle on the side using a lighter, two more holes may be burnt into the top section of the bottle if the stoner wishes to "shotgun" the turbo. the stoner or another stoner with them sucks on the usual opening of the bottle gently after the roach of a joint is placed into the lowermost hole to make smoke rise slowly into the bottle, this is known as "pulling" the turbo, a slow riser may be pulled where the only wise thing to do is "shotgun" the turbo. a slow riser may be identified by smoke that appears liquid... yes, i'm a stoner :D dedicated to you scholey, from tatters aka brett aka twattersfield
