It's an archaic Japanese interjection meaning 'yea', 'uh huh'. In modern Japanese fiction it's used similar to いい (ii) in that it can be used as an affirmative or positive ("Yes, that's good"), noncommittally or resignedly ("fine, alright") or dismissively ("Enough!")

A honest girl, beautiful both on the inside and outside. Have such great care about others. Worst at lying, they will always tell you the truth. If your wearing something ugly, Umu/Oumou will let you know. Umu/Oumou can be very ratchet sometimes, but thats just a part of their personality. Sometimes they can seem really cold and rude but thats only if its ther bad day, otherwise they are the incest people you will ever meet! Has a great humour and love to see her family and friends be happy. Everyone should know a Umu/Oumou even though there rare to find!
