A term popular with African American gun hobbyists to describe either a laser aiming module or a reflex/holographic sight. Used interchangeably for both items. Short for "laser beam" as one is utilized in the mechanisms for both of the aforementioned sighting solutions.
Example:
"Yo, I got a new beam for my Glock 19X and that shit is tight"
