Word frequently used by some policemen who lack communication & people-skills and are more concerned with having cool police-gear than with actually doing good old-fashioned police work.

Tactical can also relate/refer to anything with more emphasis on equipment, weapons, defensive-training, & Officer-Safety than on getting out there in the street, knocking on doors, talking to the community, and getting the job done.

Example:
"Why's Detective Florentine standing so close and taking notes while interviewing that gang-banger? Dude, that's not tactical."

Basically a 12oz shot of liqour done early in the night to guarantee you get fucked up. Generally cheap liqour such as vladimir vodka is used. A person doing a tactic is usually in need of a chaser.
Common amongst tactic doers is the practice of a pre-shot announcement of the night's goal.
Ex: "Tonight I'm going to get a bj from Sarah."
Also common amongst tactic doers is the practice of a post-shot speech or words of wisdom.
Ex: "Goatees originated in ancient rome. When a man was caught fucking a goat, the villagers would shave off the sides of the beard so everyone in the village knew that this man was a goatfucker. And that's why we call goatees 'goatfuckers'."

Example:
Ex: "Yo dude, the dance starts in an hour and I can't dance unless I'm trashed. Want to do a tactic?"
