A game series produced by Konami in 1986. The first game Castlevania (1986) was made in Japan on the Famicom Disk System and brought to America on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The plot of the first game was as Simon Belmont you must kill Dracula before he destroys the world. The game was an instant success and later ported to the Commodore 64, MS-DOS, and the Commodore Amiga.

A video game based on the basic storyline that the Lord of Darkness, Dracula, is going to take over the world and the player must navigate his/her way through his castle and defeat him. This game has spawned many sequels, prequels and is very popular, because it can be played on the Playstation, the N64, the GameboyAdvance and various others.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was one of the best PSX games made. It was definetely the most underrated PSX game of all time. N64 Castlevania is horrible
