Almost synonymous to douche bag; the type of person that likes to show off their physique in public; wears athletic clothing in the dead of Winter (Basketball shorts with long black socks); laughs at their own non-hilarious jokes; under the false assumption that they are perfect; whines like a spoiled 5-year-old when something doesn't go their way

2:A cocky asshole who doesn't realize how much of a dick he/she is. Tools tend to over gel their hair (it looks like they just snapped into a slim jim), where overly tight polo shirts/oxfords, and over-tan until they are as orange as an oompa loompa. The males of the tool species also tend to go to the gym just so they can talk about going to the gym. The opposite of a tool is a douche bag.

a guy who works out instantly gets a sweet tan, frosted tips in his hair, does anything mtv says is cool rooms with you after high school because you got into the same school and have been best friends for 10 years and completely changes himself into a mindless asshole who says brah after every sentence and ditches you every night for his new sweet friends and then one night you confront him about how hes turned into a complete piece of shit copy of every moron at a free rockstar energy drink giveaway and storms out and dissapears for three days only to come back looking suspiciously guilty and smelling of your girlfriend of 3 years perfume and completely ruins your life

Tool
A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. The 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look is classified by a glare in the tool's direction and is usually accompanied by muttering of how big of a tool they are. The tool is usually someone who is unwelcome but no one has the balls to tell them to get lost. The tool is alwasys making comments that are out-of-place, out-of-line or just plain stupid. The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will. However, the tool is useful because you can use them for things; money, rides, ect.

"Let's drive to Chicago from Iowa. Oh man, we need money. Hey, let's ask tool to come, he'll spot us the cash!"

The first against the wall when the revolution comes. An inferior, low or no-self esteem individual who gets off obeying authority figures. One used by his superiors, who themselves undoubtedly would kick them to the curb in a heartbeat. Nevertheless, the tool believes they are worthy and significant STRICTLY because they have attached their whole sense of self to obeying said authority and/or submitting their individuality to another. Could be a woman...but is much more pronounced when seen in a "man".

An awesome band who redefined many genres, and made many bands look like crap. Lead singer also in A Perfect Circle, another awesome band.
Its true about not being able to compare tool and apc AT ALL, but i do find this quote quite humorous:
"hey, listen to this A Perfect Circle record, its like tool without the anal sex"
~Who ever wrote that is awesome, although I completely disagree, but its still funny.
