1. the best bang for your buck sports car. though it is 45k/55k(conv), it beats the shit outta a mercedes clk 55 amg (85k)+ a jaguar xkr (85k) with a natural aspired, not supercharged motor (also only a 6cyl compared to v8's); only 2nd to porsche 911 (85k++). if u ppl say what about the wrx sti or evo VII u deserve a beat down, though on paper they are better, and in there own right, they are absolutely awesome, u cannot compare to the feel u get from driving a german car, its undescribable, everything is designed so well, and omg u just can compare the driving pleasure. Dont get me wrong, if i had 30k i'd buy a japanese car but japans philosophy on engineering is practical price/performace and germans have a completly diff outlook - spare no expense.2. a 12 guage shot gun made by germany's hecklar AND koch.btw im not german, im not even white, it just appriciate there ability to make quality mechanical things, u need japan for electronics and america for, uhh ya,.

A german car made by BMW. It isn't slow, but i wouldn't call it fast. It is not faster than the 05 Clk55 Amg and im not sure about the jaguar. Also, the guy who said the M3's 0-60 is 5.9 is completely wrong. For the convertible it is 5.1, and the coupe is 4.8. It is an extremely comfortable ride, (we have one) and features the ever popular SMG gearbox.

any 3 series chassis with superpowered v6 or inline six cylinder engines that have as much ft lb of torque per hp that rival the porsche 911 and 933 targa. no mods necessary just buy and drive. the above claim that all m3's are e30 chassis is incorrect as BMW still makes m3's today, and the model number changes with each generation of developments. to have a more thorough driving experience, the m5 or even for the rich folks, the m6 is a rocket

A decent sports car for its price... more room then a vette, but if you're buying a sports car, why not get a vette for the same price?

Image of people who drive M3's is quite low amung other drivers, because of their stupid freeway antics and if you can actually afford one, you're better off buying a V8 and tuning it for the price.

No factory M3 to this date has been powered by a V6 engine. If you do not know the difference between an inline and a "V" configuration, I suggest you educate yourself a little more before writing a definition.

All M3 (to current date) came stock with naturally aspirated engines. This means they do not need the boost of Forced Induction (see: Mercedes) to make massive power from small displacement.
Example:
Despite the RS4 having a larger engine, producing more power, the E46 M3 is quicker around the track.

E92 M3 beat C63 AMG and RS4 around the track.

Number one sports car ever built!! For the years of the E30 M3, no car could touch or comapre to its ability. Even todays cars are still trying to catch up to this 18+ year old creation. God Blessed the E30 M3. I am on my 2nd E30 M3 and and my 6th E30, I have never been dissapointed.
