Inspired by the way a tea bag steeps in hot water, steep means -

V: to chill, or take in one's surroundings

ADJ: something that is really cool or chill(can also be called "steeped out")

Example:
"Dude, I'm just going to steep here for a minute."

"That new hammock is steeped out."

"I'm so steeped."

"That Bob Marley concert was steeeeep." (said with emphasis on the 'e' to exaggerate the point)

The method that Tim Horton's (a Canadian doughnut chain) uses to make tea. In a 2005 commercial, it takes on a new meaning as a mother misinterprits steeped to mean cool. Now steeped is being used in popular culture to mean cool or great. Being told that something of yours is steeped should be taken as a compliment (or you just have some good tea).

Example:
"Hey Mrs. Chan, your garden is looking steeped!"
"Steeped outfit honey"
