A student, archivist, and author of popular fiction. A quixotic hero. Eschews paradox in favor of imposing a coherent, and therefore false, narrative interpretation of the past. Still, without historians we would be even more clueless about our intellectual, political, social, and economic context. Historians create the narratives that shape our sense of heritage and our perception of "who we are." The study of history is therefore both futile and vital.

The Historian

Is a thriller book by Elizabeth Kostova.

The novel tells the story of a young girl who is looking for her father who mysteriously disappear. Before he disappear her father began to tell her a story about his years in college, and after he disappear she found the continuation of the story in letters from her father directed to her. The story was about both, her father and mother, looking for the historical Vlad the Impaler,Dracula, in a search that took them to Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Turkey.
At the end of the book she finds her father and mother,who found and killed Dracula.
Example:
librarian: "Hello Marcy."
student: " Hey, Mrs.Gibbs. I am looking for a book called The Historian, but i cant find it. Do you know if its interesting?"
librarian: " Oh, yeah. Its a marvelous book. Fallow me, I'll help you find it."

historians for the purposes of the definition, shall be defined as sam, hereafter they shall also be known as sam.
the main reasons for this are as follows:
1. sams are geeks
2. sams deny the fact that they r no longer virgins, although it has only occured once it still happened.
3. they are loners
4. they read books too often and have to boast about the amount of work they have done, its uni! you dont do work!!!
5. they have no life
hence for these reasons, no bitch assd loner called sam can call me a ho!

Trap Historian

A dude who doesn’t leave his house and knows about anything that has to do with Trapping. He knows about every deal that goes on.
Example:
Ashir this kid 16-17 never leaves his house. He's a trap historian studies everything trap related. Never sold or touched drugs in his life. His mom doesn’t let him. Just loved to know all about deals business. Spends All his time online in dealer groupchats and spamming dealers pretending to be a "real n*gga" apparently his cousin actually was a big ass plug for a while. and that's why he got obsessed with the trap cuz he saw his cousin. But he's too scared to go outside and sell drugs or anything so he lives in this fantasy land. His burning curiosity of the trap consumes him, he must learn something new every day, whether it be the 8th grader buying a $15 gram of oregano, or a 6 figure deal going down a couple blocks away. He needs to know, he is the hub of all knowledge, every network leads to him, and though an unimaginable weight to bear, he stays being a trap historian, humble til the end of his days.


Quora Historian

A person who thinks they know more than they really do about everything and will give their opinions in a condescending manner as if they could never be wrong. To the average or ill-informed questioner, this person will have lots to say and will seem knowledgeable enough, but people who really know them understand that this person is a phony. Any real expert or accomplished person would make the Quora Historian look like a child, which is what the Quora Historian fears most.
Example:
All of these Quora Historians are running around talking about the best running shoes and wind resistant headbands for a 5k, but I don't think a single one of them has broken 20 minutes.
