An
arbitrary word used by management officials to
blur the lines of clarity when clearly losing an argument with an employee or an employee organization or when implementing something without a clear need to do so.
Example:
That issue isn't worth addressing. It doesn't happen routinely nor does it rise to the
threshold of what we would consider
routine.

Doing exactly the same thing at exactly the same time everyday, such as watching
last nights documentary/newsnight on BBC
iplayer on lunch hours. Inspired by
Nigel's actions in the office (every day).
Example:
Dawn: "I'm bored of doing the same thing every day and being so
predictable"
Neil: "You're stuck in
a Nigel routine!"
Stephen: "I go out too much and spend too much money on dinner times!"
Neil: "Why don't you try a Nigel routine?"
