The way the American government makes you think you are in charge of your own destiny, when in reality we are living in an
imperialist society that has already
subverted the bill of rights in the name of terror and fear. Think about it. You don't pick the next president, the electors from the
electoral college do, and they are basically free to pick anyone. Your vote counts...sort of but not really.
Example:
- We are all sheep that can have our homes broken into, our property searched, we can be detained and not told what we are being held for, and held for an
indefinite amount of time if we are a ''suspected terrorist''.
What kind of power does that give to you as a human being?
vote? why?

1. An indication of personal
preference, sometimes
anonymous, design to effect
the outcome of an event or choice or events.
2. Something you do to give yourself a nice warm feeling, but no one really notices.
Example:
Dont vote, it only encourages them.

1.) What many
citizens forgot they didn't do when complaining about the government.
2.) Although everyone is
granted the right to an opinion, this is the only place where it really
matters (or anybody will care).
Example:
Non-voter: I hate Barack Obama. And people don't deserve health care because they waste their money on Ugg Boots and Coach bags.
Voter: Oh, so you voted for McCain?
Non-Voter: No I didn't vote.
Voter: Oh, so STFU then. No one cares what you think.

Something I will never do because it is
ageist, even when I
turn 18.
Example:
Person 1: You gonna
vote tomorrow?
Person 2: No, I'm not a
citizen of
the USA, I can't vote.
Person 1: Yes you are, you were born here!
Person: 2: No, in the USA your not a citizen till your 18.
