Werribee is a great town between Melbourne and Geelong. People (particularly those from the east) like to bag Werribee and call it 'scum' and 'feral' believing that their own town is so perfect and "bogan-free", but the vast majority of residents in Werribee are just as normal, hard working, and friendly as anywhere else. Sure, there are some ferals around like any other place, that can bring Werribee down, but that doesn't mean each of the 40+ thousand residents are all that bad.It's ignorant to be prejudiced towards a group of people or a town if you have never been there before to experience it first hand, or have met any people from that place.Just because it's in the western suburbs, that doesn't mean it' scum or shit.Contrary to popular belief, Werribee does NOT smell. Yes, there is the sewage farm, but seriously, you can not smell it at all.It's a popular tourist town with the Open Range Zoo, Werribee Park and Mansion, and State Rose Garden. The Werribee Plaza is great for shopping, Werribee South beach for boating, fishing and jetskiing, and the Werribee River for canoeing.A City/Country/Coast town.

Sometimes they're not far off the mark, but there are a great number of people who live there that are perfectly nice, normal people - some might even be more respectible than the people who insult them.

A suburb in Victoria. Piece of shit, scummy boganville full of bogans. I know 'cause I'm unfortunate enough to have to live here. True, there are nice non-bogan people here but mostly it's hairy slobs who live off beer and slutty women who wear trackpants and lowcut tops without a bra (in a bad way). They can't spell and probably don't know the definition of grammar.
Among the teenagers, they have chipped teeth from fighting and probably don't know how to spell the WHOLE of their name (or where they live, hence Wezza).
Drugs are very commonplace and it's not suprising to meet people under the age of 15 who have had sex (kind of disgusting).
Some of the primary words used in Werribee are "cunt" and "bro"all the while using the -I-can't-prounce-the-g-in-my-words accent.

Scum, basically. Close to an industrial area and previously a sewage farm (which is why is smells so bad, although that could also be attributed to most of the residents)

Constantly defending why Werribee is so awesome (even though it's a sewer) only reveals their insecurity, and bragging about some football team does this even more.

Despite a fair amount of good, middle class families in werribee there are a lot of scum there as well. These are the people that are most noted when walking through Werribee Plaza, if ever you are so brave.

Westie teenagers beating their chests and screaming the praises of Werribee to the world, then spouting abuse when someone points out it's a dump are the main feature of the suburb.

Only known for the plaza and eshays, walk into the plaza and you will only see tech fleece, black af1’s and buzz cuts. If you are someone that locates in Werribee I am very sorry that you decided to make that decision.

Werribee Centrals is a local football club and I think is the best football club out there, there are nice people and everyone does their best in sorting out the teams and filling in jobs every game. Werribee Centrals are great Rivals to Werribee Juniors and Wyndham Vale. The parents from Wyndham Vale shout at the Werribee Centrals players while they have the ball and their running past the Wyndham Vale bench and I know that because that has happened to me before. Werribee Juniors don't do that kind of things to the players so their not as bad as Wyndham Vale. When you want to join a fun and great football club come to Werribee Centrals you are always welcome.

Person 1: What Football Club do you play for im looking for a club to play for?

Person 2: I play for Werribee Centrals and they are really nice there and they make you feel welcome.
